New appointment system

From 5th February 2019, Charterhouse Surgery will be engaging in a new appointment system. Patients will be asked to contact the surgery as normal where they will be offered a telephone consultation appointment slot on the same day.

If the clinician feels you need to be seen on the day, you will be offered a face to face appointment or signposted to other local services. More appointments will be available on the day and you will be called within an hour of the appointment slot given.

Home visits

please contact the surgery before 10 am. You will be given a telephone consultation appointment slot and called within one hour. The clinician will discuss the management of your care and decide if you require a home visit. Home visits are for patients who are housebound or unable to leave the house for medical reasons.

Flu season is upon us.

Flu jabs are available now for eligible patients and we are running  flu clinics on Saturday 30th September 2017 and Saturday 7th October.

Local pharmacies are also providing flu jabs both for NHS patients and privately. Your local pharmacist will also be able to advise on self management of flu symptoms and other common seasonal problems such as coughs and colds
